IronClad energy brand. Today I am going to be taking on the Triple Citrus formula. Let's see if IronClad can impress me with my second sampling of the drinks.
The Look: The can is done in a silver/gold/black theme. The yellow is there to help represent the citrus flavor. On the front of the can we get the IronClad brand name in black over a yellow background. On the bottom half of the can it list the flavor as well as some of the key ingredients. Flipping the can around you can find the usual nutritional information as well as a short passage about IronClad. It also tells about their IronClad Hammer Tabs promotion.

Taste: Ok my sampling of the Black & Blue left me a little disappointed on flavor on my first review. This one is a citrus drink and has sugar so I am willing to give it another go. This drink is good and I really like the citrus flavor they have. You get a citrus flavored drink here that is not overly sweet. There is also a light amount of carbonation that compliments the drink nicely. With the added electrolytes this would be a good drink to quench your thirst in a time of need.

Does It Work: IronClad Triple Citrus is powered by 180 calories, 40g of sugar, 154mg of caffeine, some B Vitamins, electrolytes and some other quality ingredients. This is your average kick from an energy drink. There is nothing over the top yet you get enough where you can feel it. I would put it on par with Monster/Rockstar 16oz. With the added electrolytes it gives this drink something not every energy drink has.
(8 out of 10) bumped up a bit for the electrolytes
Overall Thoughts: Ok where Black and Blue failed to impress me, this drink pulled through. You get a great tasting drink with an average kick to it. This company has a pretty cool promotion going with the tabs from the drinks as well. You simply collect the tabs and redeem them for some pretty cool gear. You can find out about the drinks they have as well as the Hammer Tab Promotion at : IronClad Energy. This drink gets my thumbs up and I suggest you try one out.
