The Look: This drink went full out with the High Roller theme. The can is done in a red background with faded images of dice all around the can. They chose a graffiti like font for displaying the name of the drink on the front. On the back of the can there is nutritional information and a pretty cool passage about the company. Here is the passage directly off the can:
This is where we write some witty slogan about how High Roller Energy will help you pick up the opposite sex and/or achieve fame and fortune in your designated sporting field.
But the Truth...........
High Roller Energy will help all types, from the PRO ATHLETE, to the PLAYER, to the HIGH ROLLER. Stay on your game with this special blend of HIGH ROLLER ENERGY.
I don't know why, but I like the passage and I think it goes with the can very well. The only thing missing is some cool slogan (I like slogans on energy drinks).

Taste: The taste of High Roller has a very pleasant energy drink taste. It has a citrus base with a slight amount of gumminess flavor to it. There is also some hints of a very light berry mixed in as well. Mixed in with that you get the oh so familar vanilla flavoring found in a bunch of other drinks. What really pulls this all together is the perfect amount of carbonation that is added. Sometimes an energy drink tasting like an energy drink is NOT a bad thing. This is one of those times. I was really worried this was going to be a clone like so many other drinks but the complexity of the flavors really helped it shine and stand out.

Does It Work: The High Roller Energy drink comes in an 8 oz formula. This drink is powered by 30g of sugar, 1000mg of taurine, 80mg of caffeine, insitol, niacinamide, pantothenic acid, a handful of B vitamins, and even some protein. After drinking one of these down very quickly I got a very nice little pick me up. The power of this is slighty more powerful than a Red Bull (I think the taste is slightly better than a Red Bull as well). I didn't get a massive energy rush but I did get enough energy to wake me up and get me moving. This is one of those everyday types of drinks that won't leave you jittery or with a massive crash. I have 2 more cans of this and they are going to be tried out as alcohol mixers this weekend because I have a feeling they will mix great.

Overall Thoughts: High Roller Energy is a great energy drink. You get a nicely designed can, a good taste, and a nice pick me up. The biggest downside to this drink is the fact that it is very costly to get it shipped to the U.S. If they ever manage to get it to the U.S. or you can find a place online to get it from you really should give High Roller a chance. They have a pretty good web site at: High Roller Energy.
