sugar free Citrus scored very well, so let's see if regular Citrus can earn even higher marks.
The Look: One thing I like about the DNA cans is that they keep them simple. They put out nice cans without a bunch of clutter and they all look really nice. The first thing I notice about this can is that it is done in black instead of the silver. I really like the black here it makes everything stand out and it looks very slick. On the front there is the skull graphic centered above an orange star. It looked nice on the silver can but it really shines on the black can. Turning the can around there is nutritional information as well as a short passage about the company. Another thing I really like is that they list the caffeine amount on the can, that always is a plus in my book.

Taste: Opening the can there is a very nice orange soda scent coming from inside. I take a drink and it taste just like Sunkist soda. If you like orange soda you gotta try this, this is tasty. There is some heavy carbonation to it so you won't be able to chug it (even though you will want to because it tastes so good). There is no caffeine taste or vitamin aftertaste present.

Does It Work: Inside DNA Citrus there is 200mg of caffeine, 2000mg of taurine, 200% B6, 200% B12, 200% folate, 270 calories, 66g of sugar, and 200mg of inositol. After drinking this down I got a very nice caffeine boost this morning. I got a solid buzz with no crash that lasted about 3-4 hours.

Overall Thoughts: DNA energy drink has scored well again. I have one more flavor to try. The Citrus and the Sugar Free Citrus have set the bar pretty high. You can check DNA out online at: DNA Beverage Corp. They have an awesome can, a great taste, and a good buzz. What more reason do you need to check them out?
