The Look: I love the fact these are in a glass bottle. Of all the energy drinks I have tried so far this is the first one done in a glass bottle and I think it really adds to the look. Both bottles have a very sexy look to them with no clutter. I wish there were more energy drinks in glass bottles because I think these really look slick. On the back there is nutritional information as well as the slogan "Turn it on with Red Light".

Taste: Cherry, that right there describes Red Light very simply. No I don't mean like the cherry flavoring you find in candy I mean like the flavor of real cherries. The drink reminds me of fruit punch type but with a heavy amount of cherry to it. Both varieties are very tasty and I would had a hard time deferring between the sugar free and the other. The drink has a mild amount of carbonation that I think really adds to the drink nicely. There is no hint of caffeine or any type of vitamin aftertaste with either one of these flavors.

Does It Work: First thing I noticed when I looked at the energy drink was something called schizandra. Once I looked it up I was even more perplexed about the addition. Anyway on to the subject at hand, does it work? Each 12 oz bottle contains B6, B12, pantothenic acid, l-taurine, 90 mg of caffeine, 4mg of panax genseng, vitamin C, niacin, calcium, and the ingredient I mentioned earlier schizandra. After drinking one of these I got nice energy boost with a great mood boost. This is the second drink I have reviewed so far that gives me a mood boost with the energy blend(The other drink being the Crunk lineup). I attribute this to the schizanda. So where the energy boost was nothing extreme it was great combined with the mood enhancement. This is a great drink to try when you are at home and would make a killer mixer.

Overall Thoughts: If you are looking for one of the sexiest looking drinks out there, then I think Red Light is the way to go. If you go to their website they have a bunch of recipes that involve Red Light which I think really adds to the whole theme of the drink. You can check them out for yourselves online at: Red Light. Go on and give this drink a try and let me know if it "seduces" you.
