This week I will be reviewing various relaxation drinks. These drinks are made to do just the opposite of energy drinks and are designed to help you relax and chill out.

The first drink up for review on “Anti-Energy Drink” review week will be Drank. Drank claims to be “the industry’s first relaxed lifestyle supplement” so I think it earns the right to be the first reviewed.

Drank Energy Drink

The Look (8.5 out of 10)

Drank comes in a mostly purple can. The first thing that grabbed my attention on the can is the slogan, “Slow your roll”. I feel this works great for a relaxation beverage.

Also on the front of the can is the drink name “Drank” and the words “extreme relaxation”. Flipping the can around there is a passage about the ingredients and the usual supplement facts. Overall the can does a great job advertising the fact it is a drink made to help you relax.

Taste (8.5 out of 10)

Judging by the heavy use of purple on the can I assumed that Drank would have a grape flavor. Upon opening up the can, my beliefs were confirmed. The taste of Drank starts off with a nice carbonated grape soda flavor that is a tad bit on the syrupy side. If I didn’t know this had other ingredients in it, I would of easily thought this was just grape soda.

Does It Work (8 out of 10)

Normally the drinks and products I review are based on how well they kick your ass into gear. Since Drank is made to relax you I will base my score on how well it achieves that.
Each can of Drank uses a combination of rose hipsmelatonin, and valerian root to help give you a relaxed sensation.

Along with those ingredients, there are 220 calories per can, 54 g of sugar, and a few B vitamins.

About half way through the can I started to notice the key ingredients doing their job and I was definitely more relaxed. By the time I had finished the entire can, I was pretty mellow.

I no longer had any motivation to do anything and I spent the next few hours mellowed out in front of the Xbox. This is by no means the same type of relaxation you get out of alcohol but a more mellow buzz that still allows you to function.

Overall Thoughts

I can see where Drank would be a great drink to have after work instead of having an alcoholic beverage.

If you are having a stressful day or just want to unwind a bit you should give Drank a try.
